Description

The Cartisan Pro Pen NEO 900 is a pen-style 510 battery with a color digital screen in the base. It is the largest battery in the Pro Pen NEO line, which Cartisan describes as all-day power. The screen shows the voltage you have selected, a timer for each draw, the battery level and the charging state, which makes it easier to repeat a setting that works than it is on a battery with a single colored light.

Controls run from one button: five clicks turn the Pro Pen NEO 900 on or off, three clicks cycle through five voltage settings from 2.1V to 3.7V, and two clicks start preheat for thick or cold oil. It charges over USB-C with the included cable and threads onto most standard 510 cartridges. The NEO 900 is the longest pen in the family at 4.3 inches. If pocket size matters more than runtime, the Pro Pen NEO 650 and Pro Pen NEO 400 use the same screen and controls in shorter bodies.
