Its concave, rounded-bottom chamber spreads oil more evenly, which helps hold on to terpenes and cuts down on reclaim. The heating keeps temperatures even across the coil from the first hit to the last, and a half-turn connection makes it easier and more secure to install, with stronger communication with the device. Atomizers wear with use, so a spare keeps the rig running.
