Description

The Formula 420 Detailing Brush Set is a three-piece nylon brush kit built for cleaning the areas of a pipe or rig that cotton swabs and wipes can not reach — downstems, joint connections, percolators, and narrow chamber necks. The three brush sizes (B1 Small at 3/16", B2 Medium at 5/16", B3 Large at 1/2") are sized to the most common dimensions encountered in glass cleaning. Each brush is 8.5" long with a 2" nylon brush head.

Use the brushes alongside Formula 420 or Formula 710 cleaner for a combined soak-and-agitate method: fill the piece with cleaning solution, let it work, then run the appropriate brush size through downstems and joints to dislodge any remaining residue before the final rinse. The nylon bristles are firm enough to move sticky resin but will not scratch borosilicate glass or quartz.
