Description

The Lookah Seahorse 3.0 is a compact electric nectar collector that lets you dab straight from the jar without a torch. It is the third generation of Lookah's best-known dab straw, built around a replaceable Seahorse coil with a 510 screw connection, a 500mAh battery and Type-C charging, and it comes in nine colors.

Compared with the Seahorse 2.0, the 3.0 charges at 500mA instead of 250mA, runs up to 25 seconds per activation instead of 20, adds a second indicator light so battery level and voltage are shown separately, and swaps the magnetic mouthpiece for a fixed ergonomic one. Voltage is chosen with a double-click (3.2V, 3.6V or 3.9V) and the pen works either by holding the button or in a timed automatic cycle.

FAQs

How do I turn the Seahorse 3.0 on and off? Press the button five times within two seconds. The lights flash white three times and the pen enters standby; the same five clicks turn it off.
How do I change the voltage? Double-click the button within 0.8 seconds to cycle through 3.2V (green light), 3.6V (blue) and 3.9V (white). Lower voltages favor flavor, higher voltages produce thicker vapor.
What is the difference between manual and automatic mode? In manual mode you hold the button and release it to stop, with a 25-second cutoff. Triple-click within 1.2 seconds to enter automatic mode, which preheats for 15 seconds and then runs up to 25 seconds of output without holding the button. Lookah intends automatic mode for a compatible wax atomizer; triple-click again to exit.
Which coils fit the Seahorse 3.0? It ships with Seahorse Coil V quartz tips and is compatible with generations 1 through 5 of Lookah's Seahorse coils. Any 510-threaded coil is not automatically compatible, so check the type, resistance and voltage rating before using a third-party coil.
How do I know when the battery is low? The power indicator shows green at 61-100%, yellow at 31-60% and red at 1-30%. When both lights flash red eight times, the pen needs to be charged.
How long does charging take? Lookah does not publish a charge time. The pen charges from any 5V USB source over Type-C at 500mA; the mode light rotates red while charging and the power light turns green when it is full.
How does it compare with the Seahorse Pro Plus? The Pro Plus is larger, has a 650mAh battery and a 510 cartridge mode; the 3.0 is a slimmer straw-only pen that keeps the essentials in a smaller body.

Electric nectar collector: A pen with a heated tip that you touch to concentrate in its container while inhaling through the other end. No torch, no rig, no loading a chamber.
Coil or tip: The quartz tube at the end of the pen that heats up. It is a consumable; the 3.0 includes two and replacements screw on with the 510 connection.
Voltage: The power sent to the coil. Start at 3.2V for the most flavor and step up to 3.6V or 3.9V if you want more vapor.
Dab: The small amount of concentrate you vaporize in one go. With a nectar collector you dip rather than load, so keep the tip moving and use light contact.
Cleaning: Let the coil cool, then brush loose residue out of the airway with the included brush. Keep the body and charging port dry.
