The Storz & Bickel Volcano Classic is a desktop dry herb vaporizer that heats with pure convection: hot air from the heater passes through the herb, and a built-in air pump fills an EASY VALVE balloon with vapor. A 9-level dial sets the temperature from 266°F to 446°F, and two buttons switch the heater and the pump. There is no display and no app.
That simplicity is the point of the Classic, which is hand-crafted in Germany in Silver, Onyx, and Evergreen. It takes about 5 minutes to heat up and uses balloons only, with no tube option in the box. Buyers who want a faster heat-up, a digital display, app control, and a tube should look at the Volcano Hybrid. Regular users can cut their own balloons from a roll of Volcano balloon tube.
