  • Resin: The sticky, dark residue left inside pipes and rigs after use. It builds up with each session and becomes harder to remove over time if not cleaned regularly.
  • Borosilicate glass: The heat-resistant glass most quality pipes and bongs are made from. All Formula 420 formulas are safe on borosilicate.
  • Concentrate vs ready-to-use: A3 is a concentrate — it needs to be diluted with water before use. A1, A2, A4, and S1 are used straight from the bottle.
  • Soak method (S1): Instead of shaking cleaner inside the piece, you submerge the whole piece in the solution and let chemistry do the work. Better for complex pieces with hard-to-reach chambers.
