Highlights
- Hybrid Heater: Conduction and convection both warm the flower inside a stainless steel oven.
- Four Presets: Modes span minimal vapor for discreet use to dense clouds, chosen with one button.
- Heat-Up Time: The LED petals turn green after about 55 to 70 seconds.
- Battery Life: The 2800mAh cell lasts about 50 minutes, or up to 5 sessions, and higher modes drain it faster.
- USB-C Charging: A side-mounted port refills an empty cell in about 90 minutes.
- Auto Shutoff: The device powers down at sustained high temperatures and resumes normal use once cooled.
- Level Check: Shaking the powered-on unit shows remaining charge, with each solid LED petal worth 25%.
In the Box
- PAX Four device: The vaporizer itself, with its stainless steel oven, removable oven lid and LED petal display.
- Flat and Raised Mouthpieces: Two interchangeable silicone tips; the flat one slows airflow, which can raise vapor production.
- Multi-Tool: Packs material level with the top of the oven, clears spent flower and lifts the flat mouthpiece at its edge.
- Oven Screens x3: Replacement screens for the oven, swapped in when the current one needs changing.
- Wire Brush: Dipped in isopropyl alcohol, it threads through the vapor path from the top to push out the screen and scrub buildup.
- USB-C Charging Cable: Connects the side port to a power source rated 5V to 9V DC at 2.5A or more.
Description
The PAX Four is a portable dry herb vaporizer that heats ground flower in a stainless steel oven with a hybrid heater, so conduction and convection work on the material at the same time. Pax released it in March 2026 in three colors: Onyx, Greenstone and Oxblood.
Four preset heat modes run from minimal vapor for discreet sessions to dense clouds at the top level, and the device regulates each one, so there is no exact degree to dial in. With the unit on, a quick press of the power button steps through the modes, and the choice locks in after 3 seconds or a shake. The LED petals turn green after about 55 to 70 seconds, which signals the oven is ready.
The oven has a reworked shape for easier loading, and a refined lid lets more air through. As with other portable vaporizers, power comes from an internal battery: the 2800mAh cell covers about 50 minutes, or up to 5 sessions, on one charge, depending on the mode, and refills through a USB-C port on the side in about 90 minutes. A spare PAX Four Oven Lid and the Tuckform Magnetic Case for Pax 4 / Flow are sold separately.
FAQs
- Does the PAX Four work with concentrates? No. It is built for dry herb only and does not accept the PAX Concentrate Insert.
- How long does the battery last, and how long does it take to charge? A full charge gives up to 5 sessions or about 50 minutes, depending on the heat mode. Charging from empty to full takes about 90 minutes; if it is not full within about 2 hours, try a different cable or power source.
- What charger should I use? Any USB-C cable with a power source rated 5V to 9V DC and 2.5A minimum (3A maximum), such as a laptop or power hub.
- How long does it take to heat up? About 55 to 70 seconds. The LED petals turn green when the oven is ready.
- Why did it shut off with orange lights? When the heater reaches sustained high temperatures, all four LEDs pulse orange-red and the device turns off. Let it cool for 30 minutes, and normal operation resumes.
- Why does the mouthpiece or vapor feel hot? Switch to the flat mouthpiece to slow the airflow, grind fresh material medium-fine, fill the oven completely with a light tamp and clean the vapor path of residue.
- What is the warranty? Two years limited, with one more year added when the device is registered within 30 days of purchase.

- A dry herb vaporizer heats ground flower until it releases vapor, without burning it.
- Hybrid heating means the PAX Four uses hot oven walls and heated air together.
- Load ground material into the oven, press it level with the Multi-Tool and close the lid.
- Heat modes are preset levels: lower ones give lighter vapor, higher ones give denser vapor and use more battery.
- The LED petals show status: green means ready to use, and a shake shows the battery level.
