Description

The SLX V2.5 Ceramic Coat Grinder (also searched as SLX 2.5 or SLX non-stick grinder) is a 4-piece herb grinder machined from 7075-T6 aluminum and coated inside and out with a non-stick ceramic finish. Resin has nothing to grip, so the lid keeps turning smoothly and the teeth stay clean between uses. The coating contains no Teflon or PTFE.

It comes in three sizes: a 2" (50mm) pocket grinder, the 2.4" (62mm) standard size and the 3.5" (88mm) BFG for large batches. Every size uses the same trapezoid teeth, lift-out screen and magnetic lid. Compare it with the rest of our grinders and mills.

FAQs

• Which size should I get?: The 2" fits a pocket. The 2.4" suits most daily use. The 3.5" BFG grinds a large batch in one load.
• Does it need cleaning?: The ceramic coating resists sticky buildup, so it needs far less cleaning than a bare aluminum grinder. Brush out loose material and pollen as needed.
• Is the coating Teflon?: No. It is a ceramic coating with no Teflon or PTFE, FDA-approved for food contact.
• Can I use it for vaporizers?: Yes. An even, fluffy grind packs well into dry herb vaporizers and heats more evenly.
• Can I skip the pollen screen?: Yes. The screen lifts out, so you can run it as a 3-chamber grinder or collect pollen with the screen in place.

• What a 4-piece grinder is: Four parts stack together: the lid with teeth, the grinding chamber, the lift-out screen and the pollen catcher at the bottom.
• Loading it: Open the lid and break your herb into small pieces. Place them between the teeth, not over the center post, then put the lid back on.
• Grinding: Hold the base and twist the lid back and forth a few times. The ground herb drops through the holes into the chamber below.
• Emptying it: Unscrew the chamber from the screen section and tap out the ground herb. The screen lifts out with no threads.
• The pollen catcher: Fine pollen falls through the stainless steel screen and collects in the bottom piece. Brush it out when you want to use it.
• Keeping it clean: The ceramic coating resists sticky buildup. Brush out loose material and pollen as needed.
