The Mad Heaters Tempest 2 Heat Shield is the swap-on outer sleeve for the Tempest 2, available in anodized aluminum (Black, Green, Midnight) or Grade 5 titanium (Titanium (Ti)). It's the part your fingers touch while the head is hot, so it doubles as both protection and the device's main style statement.

Fitment is V2-only - it won't fit a Tempest 1. Swapping takes moments, making this one of the easier vaporizer parts to change, and an easy way to refresh a well-used Tempest 2 or match it to the rest of your gear.

FAQs

Will it fit my Tempest 1? No - this is the V2 shield and only fits the Tempest 2.
What's the difference between aluminum and titanium? Black, Green, and Midnight are anodized aluminum; Titanium (Ti) is bare Grade 5 titanium that matches the (Ti) edition devices.
Does the material change performance? Both do the same job - shielding your hand from the hot head. The aluminum version keeps the device at its standard 46 g weight.
